I grew up in Ontario’s Greater Toronto Area and found myself continuously moving further north to escape the city life for the small town community feel.

I visited Calgary for the first time in 2016, where I absolutely fell in love with Alberta. This quickly became the only travel destination for my family, and it became very clear that moving to Alberta was in our long-term plan. One year, we did a 2-week road trip all over Alberta and BC, to decide where we wanted to live. It was hands-down Cochrane, AB.
